Thisd 3rd week of rifle season started out pretty good as we had some success but has slowed down with the high winds and temps in the 50's here late in the week. A flintlock mule deer hunt in Montana during rifle season takes some serious commitment and after a few close calls with some target shooter bucks we spot and stalked this guy which turned out to be a hunt he was hoping for. Good shooting this week and lots of animals hitting the ground with one more day to go and 2 more elk tags to fill.
